Engineering & Science Festival 2025 – Join Us for a Day of Discovery!
|
The College of Engineering’s Micron Student Success Center is thrilled to announce the 18th Annual Engineering & Science Festival on February 22, 2025, at Boise State University!
Save the Date: February 22, 2025
Location: Boise State University
Time: 10 am – 3 pm
Boise State faculty, staff, and community partners will lead interactive presentations, hands-on activities, and exciting demonstrations throughout campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with science and engineering in a fun, inspiring environment.
*This is not a Kuna High School-sponsored activity, and students will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the event.

High School Art and Design Exhibition
|
The High School Art & Design Exhibition gives all Idaho high school students the opportunity to show their artwork in a professional gallery space on the University of Idaho Campus, a tradition that has been taking place on the Moscow campus for over 30 years. All submitted work will be displayed digitally on campus and Jurors will then determine works that will be invited to show physically in the University of Idaho campus galleries. Jurors will also select award winners who will receive gift bundles including art supplies and University of Idaho swag.
- All works submitted via the digital form by deadline: Feb. 28, 2025
- On campus invite notification sent by: March 7, 2025
- Artwork invited to show on campus will need to arrive by April 7, 2025
- Exhibit will run April 14 - May 10, 2025

Idaho LAUNCH Grant Updates
|
The first round of Idaho LAUNCH grants closed on November 30, 2024, and the Idaho LAUNCH team will send Contingent Offers to selected students by December 31, 2024.
🗓️ Deadline to Accept:
Students receiving a Contingent Offer must accept by January 15, 2025. Be sure to check your email—if you don’t accept by the deadline, the funds will go to another applicant.
💡 Still Interested?
If you missed the first round, it’s not too late! You can still apply, and a second round of offers will be released in the spring.
Eligibility Checklist
To be eligible for Idaho LAUNCH funding, make sure you:
- Complete the Idaho LAUNCH Grant application in Scholarship Idaho.
- Finish the Idaho LAUNCH Career Portfolio in Next Steps Idaho.

Colleges and Military Representatives Visit: Important Dates
|
Colleges and military representatives will be on campus during intervention and lunch on the following days to assist seniors with the application process:
- Army Tuesday 12/10/2024
- BSU Thursday 12/12/2024
If you are interested in attending any of these schools or military branches, be sure to check in with them on these days.
Meeting with representatives won’t take your entire lunch break, but it will ensure you have all the necessary components for your application and financial aid.

Idaho Latino Scholarship Foundation Scholarship
|
The Idaho Latino Scholarship Foundation (ILSF), was founded in 2008 to ease the financial burden Idaho Latino students face when striving towards a higher education. Workin galongside our generous community members, corporate sponses, and volunteers, we provide deserving students an opporutnity to radically chanie their lives.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Applicands must be and Idaho resident and be of Latino descent
- DACA are eligible
- Deomonstrated leadership in school, community and/or other service orgnizations
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5+

|
Students enrolled or planning to enroll at Boise State University, College of Southern Idaho, or College of Western Idaho in engineering or computer science have the chance to apply for a 4-year scholarship funded by the National Science Foundation. Eligible students can receive up to $10,000 per year to support their education in various engineering and computer science programs at BSU.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Enrolled full-time in engineering or computer science at BSU, CSI, or CWI
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Pell-grant eligible and demonstrate financial need
