KHS/SFHS Weekly Update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we wrap up the first semester, we want to take a moment to recognize and congratulate our students for their hard work and dedication during finals.

Report cards will be distributed via email by January 27th. Please take the time to review your child’s progress and celebrate their achievements. Should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to our staff for support.

Semester 2 begins Tuesday January 21st "A" Day

The counseling team is available to assist with second-semester schedule changes in limited capacity. Please note that all changes must be requested by the fourth day of the new semester, which is January 24th. After this date, no further adjustments will be made to schedules. If your child requires any changes, encourage them to contact their counselor as soon as possible. Please take a look at your semester schedule on Monday night in case any changes have been made.

We want to remind families that Friday 1/17 is early release. Please plan accordingly to accommodate this schedule.

We hope to see many of you at KHS tonight for the 7th Annual Matt Scanlon Night! This special event is an opportunity to bring together alumni, families, and the community to support the Matt Scanlon Scholarships. We have a lot of fun activities planned for the evening, and it promises to be an enjoyable night for all. Your participation helps us honor Matt’s legacy and support our students. Thank you for your continued support of this meaningful cause.

Does your student need academic support or are they falling behind in their work? Please encourage them to attend intervention sessions. These sessions are available daily at KHS and SFHS after 2nd period. It's a great opportunity for your student to work with teachers, catch up, and deepen their understanding of the material.

Drop off & Pick up is only allowed in the student parking lot. Dropping off/pickup in the front of KHS is not allowed.

Pro Tip: if your student drives to the Swan Falls campus for afternoon classes, set an alarm on their phone to ensure they arrive on time for Third Period, which starts at 11:26 AM.
