MEET THE COUNSELING TEAM
Stringfield picture
Mrs. Juli Stringfield
Last Names A - E

I have been in education since 2002, first starting as a high school teacher and after many years of teaching, decided to go back and get my Master's degree in School Counseling. I have been working as a school counselor since 2011.  Treating all students with kindness and care is my approach when working with students. I am here to listen and help find solutions together with the student. High school students are enjoyable to work with because they are on their way to becoming young adults. They are exploring their options for their next adventure, post-high school, whether that be joining our armed forces, going out in the workforce, or attending college, to continue their education. High school gives them the opportunity to take courses that help them not only gain skills, but also helps to spark interest in areas in which they might pursue post-high school. Being a part of this process is exciting and what makes my job so enjoyable as a School Counselor.

I have been working in education for 26 years with 17 of those years as a school counselor.  The best part about my job is working with students and families and seeing the growth during their high school years. I love the conversations about life's celebrations and struggles and helping them learn to self advocate. When I'm not at work I'm usually chauffeuring my two daughters to their extra curricular activities. I love to read, travel and spend time with my family and dogs.

Here’s an even shorter version:

"I'm in my third year as a school counselor, focused on supporting students with college planning, emotional well-being, and academic guidance. I believe in a strength-based approach to help students succeed. I’ll soon complete my master’s in School Counseling, specializing in Crisis and Trauma. Outside of work, I love mountain biking, skiing, and bringing a little high school humor to my day!"

This is my 19th year as a school counselor and my 11th at Kuna High School—Go Kavemen! Working with high school students is a daily adventure, filled with diverse perspectives and dynamic energy that makes every day unique. Outside of school, I love watching my girls play volleyball, spending time with friends and family, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and traveling.

Mr. Todd Harris
Counseling Intern

My experience working with youth in various religious settings has given me the privilege of serving a broad range of young people and their unique needs. I firmly believe that students are intelligent and capable—they have the answers within themselves to overcome challenges, and my role is to support them in finding their path. My focus is on College & Career Planning, as well as providing emotional support to help students thrive both academically and personally.

Mrs. Tiffany Eggleston
Registrar

This is my 4th year in the counseling office at Kuna High School, where I combine my love of helping others and my passion for working with teenagers. My goal each day is to make sure at least one student feels heard and valued. As the registrar, I manage student records, greet everyone who comes to the counseling center, and help create a calm and safe environment. I’m proud of my positive interactions with students, staff, and parents, and love supporting students in achieving their goals, big or small. Outside of school, you’ll find me camping, fishing, hiking, reading, or crafting.

Ms. Angelie Bauer
College and Career Coordinator

I’ve been working in Kuna for 17 years, bouncing between the classroom and administration, but I’ve finally found my true calling in College and Career Readiness. For nearly five years, I’ve had the best job ever, helping students figure out how they’re going to change the world—and creating opportunities for them to explore those options. Watching a student light up with possibilities? Absolutely priceless! When I’m not doing that, I’m hanging out with my two awesome daughters (who also go to school here in Kuna), usually racing between gymnastics, cheerleading, and of course, jamming out to Taylor Swift!

OPPORTUNITIES
AO Flag logo
Advanced Opportunities : Flags on Accounts
If there’s a flag on your Advanced Opportunities account, you won’t be able to request funding for current dual credit or overload courses. Flags are placed when credit was not earned for a course previously funded by AO.

To resolve this, you must pay for and pass a similar course before you can receive further state funding. This can include IDLA overload or dual credit classes. After paying for and successfully completing the course, inform Ms. Bauer to request removal of the flag.

See your counselor for course options.
