A Thoughtful Changing of the Guard: Farewell to Angelie and Welcome to Laura!

As the school year winds down and we look ahead to a bright future, our College and Career Center is experiencing a bittersweet "changing of the guard."

🌟 Thank You, Angelie Bauer!
First, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Angelie Bauer for her incredible dedication as our College and Career Coordinator. Angelie has been a steadfast guide, champion, and mentor for countless students as they navigated the monumental decisions of life after high school. While we will miss her deeply, we wish her the absolute best in her next chapter. Thank you, Angelie, for leaving such a lasting legacy of support in our community!

👋 Welcome, Laura Turner!
With a fond farewell comes an exciting new beginning. We are thrilled to introduce Laura Turner as our incoming College and Career Coordinator! Laura is eager to step into this role and continue building on the fantastic foundation here, helping our students map out their dreams, discover new pathways, and achieve their goals.

☀️ Summer Contacts & Support
We know that future planning doesn't completely stop when the school doors close for break. If you have questions over the summer, please keep the following contacts in mind:

  • General College & Career Questions: You can reach out to Laura Turner at lturner@kunaschools.org.
  • Please remember that it is summertime! Our staff will be taking some well-deserved time off to recharge, so responses may not be immediate. We appreciate your patience.
  • Advanced Opportunities Funding: For any questions or needs regarding Advanced Opportunities (Fast Forward) funding, please contact Julie Stringfield at jpstringfield@kunaschools.org.

Have a wonderful, safe, and relaxing summer, Kavemen! We look forward to a fantastic school year ahead with Laura at the helm.
