Outdoor Natural Science Semester Field Trip Information!

Hello Parents/Guardians and Students!

Yesterday, I handed out semester field trip information and a field trip permission slip in class.  I have attached the general information below.  The permission slips were sent home as hard copies, but they can also be found in Schoology, as well as attached to this post.

Permission slips should be returned as soon as possible and NO LATER than Sept. 10th!

There is a $10 field trip fee associated with this class.  This is for admission to the MK Nature Center, some field supplies, and any additional transportation costs that need covered.  Without this fee, it is difficult to give students field experience opportunities!  If you would like to donate more than $10, you can help cover the costs for those that cannot pay.  Thank you for your help with this!

 I welcome parent involvement! Without parents volunteering as chaperones, we could not attend the field trips we do. Please sign up on this previous post, if you can help chaperone a field trip this semester or provide a simple field trip snack, such as granola bars, fruit snacks, or crackers.

Note: If students are unable to attend a field trip, optional or alternate field trips will be provided.  Many of these options are self-guided and need to be completed outside of class time.
