Dear Kuna High School Families,
As we wrap up our first full month of the school year, I want to personally thank our students, staff, and families for a fantastic start. We have great momentum building across campus, and I deeply appreciate your ongoing support.
Kudos on Drop-Off & Pick-Up Routines I want to send a huge thank you to all our parents, guardians, and student drivers for adapting so well to our arrival and dismissal procedures. One month in, both morning drop-off and after-school pick-up are running remarkably well! A friendly safety reminder: please continue to drive slowly, watch closely for pedestrians, and pull forward as far as possible in the loading lane when stopping. Keeping speeds low and filling that extra space ensures a safe, smooth experience for all of our Kavemen.
Academic Check-In: Grades & Intervention Time
-
Updated Grades: Our teachers have updated their gradebooks. I encourage you to log into Schoology with your student this week to review their most updated grades and celebrate their progress.
-
Making Use of Intervention Time: We strongly encourage all students to maximize their dedicated Intervention Time. This built-in support is the ideal time to connect with teachers, get extra assistance, or make up work. Please help us by reminding your student to advocate for themselves and use this time wisely!
Homecoming, Carnival & A Golden Anniversary: Homecoming is next week! Please see below for all theme days and game-day events.
-
Homecoming Carnival: I invite all of our families to come out and enjoy the Homecoming Carnival. Our CAST students have been working incredibly hard to put together a fun-filled event for our entire school community, and I know you won't want to miss it.
-
50th Class Reunion: I am also especially excited to share that the Class of 1976 will be joining our Homecoming game to celebrate their 50th class reunion! It is going to be an unforgettable week honoring both our current student body and five decades of proud Kaveman tradition.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for making Kuna High School such a supportive community.
Go Kavemen!
